Reconciliation
The Sacrament of Reconciliation
To Peter He says: "And I will give to thee the keys of the kingdom of Heaven. And whatsoever thou shalt bind upon earth, it shall be bound also in Heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth, it shall be loosed also in Heaven" (Matthew 16:19)

Reconciliation is the act of confessing your sins to a priest, who sits In persona Christi (In the person of Christ). Meaning, Jesus Christ Himself is listening to your confession through his minister, the priest. Father Jazdzewski, pastor of Notre Dame, hears confessions regularly after daily Mass and 45 minutes before Saturday and Sunday's Masses.
Generally speaking, you can confess any day of the week at Notre Dame; just come to Mass. |
