Holy Matrimony, or Marriage, is the sacrament of the Church in which a man and a woman leave their mother and father in order to join together as one flesh. The Church has a beautiful rite of Holy Matrimony that is used in conjunction with the Mass. Celebrating the sacrament of Marriage and the Mass in a Catholic wedding is a beautiful way for a new couple to begin their life together. Holy Matrimony is a vocation that many are called to live in the Catholic Church. |
| Notre Dame hosts a number of weddings throughout the year. After completing a Marriage Preparatory class, taught by Notre Dame staff, couples are invited to be wed in the beautiful and classic setting of our Church. It is important to contact the administrative staff in the rectory about Marriage Prep and possible open dates for the church. |
